What is Miss Texas USA
It is an international company that was created to support and advance the careers of todays women.
Miss Texas is just the first of three pageants in the Miss Universe Organization. Who ever wins Miss Texas will go on to represent our state in competing for the title of Miss USA and then onto Miss Universe.
The Value of Competing
It is more than just a competition and a crown. The Miss Universe Org. provides opportunities for women that we wouldn’t necessarily get any where else, such as; Mentoring, Career Training & Life Experiences.
Participants also gain skills needed to achieve their goals: Self-confidence, Communication skills, Goal setting & Character building.
These pageants also open the door for participants to get in front of important people in the industries they want to be in. Example: Acting & Modeling.
Why Miss Texas
All my life I have wanted to be an actress and I will do anything I can to be seen in that industry. Over the past year I have listened to actresses explain how they got their start and so many said through pageantry. After much research, I said “Why not!” It’s another opportunity for me to get in front of people who could make that dream come true.
My Goals for Competing
- Network with people in the acting/modeling industry that I wouldn’t have the opportunity to meet in an everyday situation.
- Bring awareness to the young professional community and how different generations can come together to support one another.
- Meet women from all across Texas who are just as passionate as I am.
- Volunteer in my community here in Corpus Christi so I can get to know others making a difference and support them on that journey.

As I prepare for this exciting opportunity, I am seeking sponsorship to help cover the essential costs of my journey, including travel expenses, entry fees, hair and makeup, and wardrobe.
