Bio:

Sonni Kate is an actress and model and currently holds the title of Miss Corpus Christi USA 2025.

She was born and raised in Corpus Christi where she spent most of her childhood acting in school plays and competing in theatre tournaments across the state. She also spent several summers in Georgetown studying at the Tal Lostracco Theatre Camp where she got to work with some of the best directors in TX. When Sonni Kate wasn’t onstage or competing you could most likely find her enjoying her time along the gulf coast basking in the glorious sun and warm beaches.

After graduating high school, Sonni Kate took a break from acting and moved to Austin, TX where she studied baking and pastry at Le Cordon Bleu Culinary School. Although this was not the path for her, she does still love to bake sweet treats for friends and family. After culinary school Sonni Kate then tried her hand at real estate and became a licensed Realtor at the age of 21. She sold homes in Austin for 4 years and worked with some of the top leading professionals in the real estate industry. As of today she still works with eXp Realty where she Co-Founded the eXp Young Professionals, a group dedicated to bringing awareness to the growing number of young professionals in their industry and building a community where they can connect and feel supported.

In 2020, Sonni Kate decided it was about time she followed her dreams of being an actress and packed up her things and moved to New York to study acting at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, where she graduated with an associates degree in the spring of 2023. During her time at the Academy she was trained in the works of Meisner and Stanislavski as well as Alexander Technique. Her most recent credits include Assistant Stage Manager for The Winter Wonderettes and Olive Madison in The Odd Couple (Female Version) for the Port Aransas Community Theatre. Sonni Kate most recently graced the stage at Miss Texas USA 2025 where she placed Top 17 and won Fan Favorite.

In her spare time, Sonni Kate enjoys volunteering with her local Theatre and environmental organizations, hosting young professional events, catching comedy shows in the city and being a mom to her sweet pit-bull Miss Chica.
